We are trying to keep busy this summer and boy, are we!
Trey is enjoying a piano 'camp', 4 days for 45 minutes in a group of 4 kids. I think he is liking it, however, the actual playing part seems a little challenging for him. It is hard to make your different hands and fingers play the right notes without looking at them. His favorite part is the end where they have 3 minutes of free time to do what they want on the keyboard.
Paige is my tiny dancer. For months now while she danced around my friends they would ask her "are you taking dance class?" and her reply was "I am waiting for someone (hint: Mommy) to sign me up". I finally got around to it and am so glad I did - it has to be one of the sweetest things I have seen in my life. She is so passionate and enthusiastic and concentrates so hard on the teacher. All of her little steps are very exaggerated and of course she looks so adorable in tap and ballet shoes. I am excited for her end of class performance to see what she has learned.
