Dominique pointed out that I had not put any pictures of the completed playscape on my blog. After all of his (and my Dad's) hard work, it definitely deserves a post of its own. So here it is! It is magnificent! And the kids LOVE it! The coolest thing in my opinion is that the 4x4 beams are covered in nylon (note how they are darker) so no splinters!!
A blessed life...that is what I am living. And here is where I can share it with my friends and family. Just some pictures and thoughts and hopefully some laughs.

I am 2!
Paige turned two on Mother's Day. She totally 'got' the fact that it was her birthday. She loved everything from the presents and cake and everyone singing to her to blowing out the candles (after Trey showed her how it was done on one candle). And I had a great Mother's Day with family, perfume, flowers and a chocolate sprinkle donut. It doesn't get much better than that.

Cruising
So our cruise to Mexico ended up being a cruise to nowhere, thanks to the swine flu, but we all had a great time anyway. We all laughed a lot and now we have some more 'inside jokes' that will carry on for years I am sure. I really enjoyed the break from the kids and we are so thankful to my parents for taking such great care of them.

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt
Although it was a bit chilly this morning, we all enjoyed the Woodland Park Easter Egg Hunt. Paige did great for her first hunt - she had some practice the other day with Coach Trey setting up a mock hunt with sidewalk chalk. Trey did well too and was pretty excited to fill up his basket. Tomorrow morning the Easter Bunny will visit - more egg hunting - yahoo!
