Halloween 2010

Boo! Did I scare you?
The kids enjoyed Halloween this year, are you surprised? No, of course not! What kid doesn't enjoy getting a ton of candy?? Below are some pics of them trick or treating in the evening and carving a pumpkin earlier in the morning (actually, they played on the playscape while Daddy carved it). I carved the happy pumpkin and I have to say I was mighty impressed with myself as that was my very first pumpkin to carve ever! I also through in two pictures of me and my Baskin Robbins Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and Chocolate cake courtesy of M&D and D and the kids. Jealous anyone?? Yes, those candles say 38, however, Trey requested that we put them on as 83. Ha ha Trey!

Checking out the goods.

Broken wing on my little Fairy Ballerina.

Tucker poses much better/easier than the kids.

Tiny Dancer II

Paige's dance studio had "Peek Week" where we could sit in to watch what the girls learn at dance class. It was really interesting. They are teaching them ballet basics, like counting in 8ths, and also how to stretch in a fun way by turning the action into creative movement (hence, the name of the class). For instance, they curl up real tight into a ball when they are 'doodlebugs' {3rd picture below} and the bug catcher comes by them with 'bug spray' only to open up and reach high to the sky when she is not near. Just like her summer dance class, Paige was so focused and into it compared to the other girls. The other day she said to me with a huge sigh "Mommy, I wish I could go to dance everyday". The girl's gotta dance! I am REALLY looking forward to her recital in May where she will be a ladybug.

Sweet Berry Farms

To celebrate Fall (okay, it is still 86 degrees here) and to fill a day off of school on Friday, we drove an hour to Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls. Grandma and Grandpa met us out there and we had a great time. We had fun with pumpkin painting, a hayride, a kids Maze (which was a bit more difficult than I expected as we had to send Grandpa in to find the kiddos), wild flower fields, goats and more. I got so many great pictures, it was hard to choose the ones to post below! And a great way to end our little excursion was a stop at the Harger and Vogele family favorite, DQ, before we headed home.

Have great Autumn!

Breakfast time

It has been a while since I posted anything and the kids were looking especially cute this morning so I thought we would have breakfast with you. ;.)

Love that Activia!
(ps- doesn't Trey look adorable with his new haircut?!)

Paige's hair has a mind of it's own and today is definitely a good hair day - it looks so pretty and full and wavy - I am so jealous!

Have a great hair day!
