Super Bowl Half Time Show
Paige and Trey started dancing to the Black Eyed Peas performance during the Super Bowl half time show. Of course I didn't think to grab my camera and missed most of their 'performance'. I just got the very end. And the best part is the very very end when Paige realizes I am filming her.

Dominique's 40th Birthday Celebration
To celebrate Dominique's 40th Birthday we had a party at Maggiano's Little Italy at the Domain. It was a lot of fun. Drinks, PLENTY of food (and then some) and family and friends. It is safe to say that we were all beyond stuffed by the end of the night. And I even brought home 14 containers of leftovers!! My cousin and her family came to Austin to stay with us and celebrate. The kids really enjoyed playing with each other and got along great. The weekend went by so fast that I only got one picture of them all together - how disappointing. We were all sad to say good bye when they left this morning, but made promises to get together soon!

40 years old. Wow. The kids were excited to bake Daddy a cake for his birthday. His only request was that it be "made with love". And it was!

Things that make you go hmmmm (and want to hide down an aisle)
Here is a cute story for you...
So last week Paige and I stopped in at HEB to pick up some groceries. I don't know what was in her head, but she decided to say the word "SHIP" over and over and over again. Very loudly.
Paige , "Ship Ship Ship Ship Ship Ship Ship Ship"
Mommy, "Paige, please stop saying that."
Paige, "Why Mommy? Ship Ship Ship Ship Ship Ship Ship Ship"
Mommy, "Really Paige, please stop."
So now I am laughing, but at the same time mortified, as you all know what it sounded like she was saying. I could feel some of the Sun City residents staring and saw another mom with a big grin on her face. After finally counting her to 2 (1,2,3 strikes you are in time out), she stopped repeating it. Phew!
