Family Farm Day at the Baums

Our former neighbors invited us out to their farm for a fun Saturday along with a bunch of other families.  They have one dog, three cats, two horses, four cows, six goats, two donkeys and a bunch of chickens and guineas.  For us city dwellers, it was quite the attraction.  They also had so much fun for the kids - pumpkin carving, face painting/tattoos/stickers, pinata, hayride, horse rides and more!  And of course all the BBQ and fixings you can eat.  What was really special was that their donkey had a baby just 2 weeks ago and more unbelievable was that their goat had three babies the day before!  And as if the day wasn't fun enough, we had a Halloween party to go to at night.  We were a bit late and tired so we didn't stop at home to put on our costumes.  There was a DJ with laser lights and I think Paige was in heaven dancing around the whole dance floor and requesting songs.  What an awesome weekend!

Baby goats!  They are tiny like puppies.
