So I have been keeping a BIG secret for over 3 months...D I S N E Y W O R L D!!!  I couldn't wait to tell the kids and this is how I did it - a treasure hunt!

Easter 2014

We had a great 3 day weekend and a wonderful Easter this year.  The kids enjoyed the annual neighborhood Easter egg hunt.  It was a bit sad for Trey as he is at the cut off age of 10 this year so Paige will be running solo next year.  Then we had Easter Brunch with the family at the Longhorn Club.  It was delicious and relaxing, but sadly, there was an accident just as we finished our meal.  A golf cart that delivers food to golfers tipped over as it was going down a hill.  We heard the noise and sat stunned momentarily.  Dominique was the first one to run down to help.  He had to lift the long cart with the help of another man off of the poor girl trapped underneath.  Thankfully, the fire men arrived within a couple of minutes.  I am very proud of my husband.  He did a wonderful selfless thing for a stranger without thinking twice.

Christmas 2012

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.  We certainly did.  Everyone had an enjoyable day.  Of course when all the gift opening was over, Trey and Paige both were so sad saying, "I wish tomorrow was Christmas".  That is why the season is so much fun - the anticipation of the day and spending it together.

Trey's Spring Piano Recital

Trey did a great job at his piano recital.  I was so happy that he decided to participate this time.  I loved the piece he played, "The Juggler" by Faber.   Check it out!

Trey's Spring Program

Trey had a Spring program at school, "Jungle Party", and it was the best one of his I have seen yet!  The kids all knew the words and dance moves and were actually loud enough to hear!  They were divided up into different animal groups - crocodiles, kangaroos, caterpillars and butterflies and ants.  And it was short and sweet - can't beat that!
