Destin 2010

Our 2010 Family Reunion in Destin, Florida was a success! We managed to avoid the devastating oil spill for 5 out of the 6 beach days. There were no trips to the Urgent Care Ctr. No Jelly fish stings. And there were no illnesses until the last day of the trip. Paige and Trey had so much fun with all their cousins and Aunts and Uncles as well as their Great Aunt, Great Uncle and Grandparents. I may have enjoyed myself a little more if Dominique had been able to come (he is usually on kid duty at the pool/house while I relax on the beach), but I really enjoyed hanging out with everyone and seeing how much fun the kids were having. I also appreciated all the help I got from everyone. Next up is a crazy busy summer schedule where I think I will be spending most of my time in my swagger wagon carting the kids to and fro. I can't believe June is almost over!

Kindergarten Graduation!!!!

Well, this morning was Kindergarten Graduation. Trey did a fantabulous job singing and doing the hand motions for all his songs. I am so proud of him, not for just this morning, but for his accomplishments over the whole year. I have to brag - 8 grades over 95 and 1 high 80. SOOOO smart! And he has made some good friends. I will miss his class tremendously as they are all such sweet kids. And I will really miss Ms. Herzog!!

Paige had her end of the year program at school this morning. She didn't seem to be that excited about it as you can see on her face. I sat in the first row and kept telling her to smile with no success. Guess it was more interesting to observe everything around her rather than participate. Quite unusual for her showy self!

Paige and all the kids had a great time at her bounce house bday party. By the end of the 2 hours, all the kids were sweaty and tired out. And all the adults had headaches and were dizzy from watching the wild ones run and go crazy and scream with delight.
