Another summer has flown by. To celebrate going back to school, yesterday we had the first annual "Back to School Fun Fest". It kicked off with donuts in the a.m. and then the whole familia bowling at Mel's. For lunch, Dairy Queen Blizzards!! My kids were appalled that we were not eating anything healthy by just eating ice cream for lunch - I had to twist their arms - crazy! Then we went home and checked out a dvd about Disney World (which, unfortunately, we aren't getting to go to anytime soon) and then played some board games. To end it, dinner out at Souper Salad with Grandma and Grandpa and more ice cream. Fun fun fun!
Here is Trey's first day of school picture. He actually was agreeable to me walking him in to his classroom this year (as opposed to last year when he insisted I drop him off in the car rider line along with maybe 5 other kids out of the whole school) so I was happy about that.
I am anxious to hear how his day went!
